3K CCTV Installation – Domestic Property, Louth

We recently completed a high-spec security upgrade for a domestic property here in Louth. The goal was simple: provide crystal-clear coverage of the entire site without the mess of digging up the driveway for cables.

The Challenge

The customer needed a high-performance system that didn’t just record footage but actively deterred intruders. They also had a tricky remote area of the property that was too far for a standard cable run but still needed a high-resolution feed.

Our Solution

• 3K High-Definition Clarity: We moved away from standard 1080p and installed 3K (5MP) Uniview (UNV) cameras. The jump in detail is massive, perfect for catching faces or number plates if something actually happens.

• Aesthetic & Stealth: We used sleek black cameras to match the property’s exterior. They look professional and modern, avoiding that “industrial” look you get with standard white units.

• Dual-Light Intelligence: These cameras aren’t just “always-on” lights. They use smart IR for stealthy night vision, but the moment they detect a person or a car, they switch to a warm white light. This gives the customer full-colour footage at night and acts as a brilliant “heads up” to anyone on the property.

• The “Invisible” Cable: To reach the remote part of the site, we set up a LigoWave P2P wireless link. It’s a high-speed bridge that beams the data back to the main house over the network. It saved the customer a lot of money and disruption on groundworks.

The Result

The homeowner now has total peace of mind with the entire system, including the remote camera, streaming live to their phone in full 3K resolution. Whether they are at home or away, they get instant alerts if the cameras spot something they shouldn’t.
